On iPhone / iPad (Safari)

  1. Open app.packplanner.co.uk in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (square with arrow).
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add. The PackPlanner icon appears on your home screen.

On Android (Chrome)

  2. Tap the three-dot menu.
  3. Tap Add to Home screen and confirm.
📱 Once installed, the app runs full-screen without the browser bar, just like a native app.

  3. Choose a Time — either tap an existing walk slot to add the dog to it, or tap + Set a different time to enter a new time.
  4. Choose an Activity (walk type) from your price list.
  5. Set the Schedule: Recurring for regular weekly walks, or One-off for a single date.
  6. For recurring walks, select which days of the week using the day buttons (Mon–Sun), then set a Start date. Optionally set an End date if the schedule has a known finish date.
  7. Optionally Assign to staff if another team member will be walking.
  8. Add any Notes (e.g. "Keep on lead").
  9. Tap Schedule walk.
💡 When adding a dog to an existing time slot, PackPlanner validates that the activity duration matches — so you can add a "Weekend 60" to the same slot as a "60 min walk" since they're the same length.

Marking Walks

On the calendar day view, each walk shows the dog's name, customer, time and walk type. Tap a walk to expand it and see options:
